a place to collect and share some of the little things in life and memories that bring smiles to my face and joy to my heart!
Credit where credit is due...
I thought it might be appropriate to give credit where credit is due to the muses responsible for this blog.
A few years ago I picked up in an airport, the book "It's the Little Things" by Craig Wilson, to help pass the time. It is a collection of essays, categorized by the seasons, highlighting some of the simple pleasures of life. While it is not necessarily a deep educational read or anything, i found it to be in it's own way, philosophical and uplifting, giving one cause to think and reflect.
I also must give a shout out to my dear friend, Leilani, for the blog idea. She, in her infinite wisdom and positive outlook on life, had dedicated a blog to the small stuff.
I often reflect on good memories I have of time spent with friends and family, events, things said, happy moments, not so happy moments that brought us closer together, which i find worth remembering or that in some way brightened my day. I chose this blog as a venue to collect share some of these memories. Some of which may be meaningless to anyone but myself, but there may be others who might also relate to some of my musings.
I also believe that having a positive attitude in life is an essential part of having a happy life. Though it is a challenge to acheive while working through the daily challenges of life, what better way to overcome than to focus on the small, yet positive things that are all around us?!
I welcome additions and comments by those who may also share in some of these memories and delights!
